disneylandguru: With all of the creativity poured into smaller details like the scroll work of this sign, sometimes it’s the most fun just to walk through the parks looking for things you haven’t seen before. Chances are that even if you have been a million times you’ll find something. Or maybe you’ll see something in a new way. One of my favorite places to do this is New Orleans Square. I especially love the signs you can find along your way through here.

数年前のこと。ある地方公共団体のトップのお偉いさんが人事異動の時期でもないのに突然の辞任。
地方紙には健康上の理由で辞任との記事が出た。

しかし、その記事が出る前夜、匿名掲示板に「児童買春で捕まり、辞任」との暴露投稿が。
ところがどっこい、その掲示板は投稿者は匿名でも、投稿元のIPアドレスやホスト名が表示されるものだった。
投稿元は、健康上の理由で辞任という記事を出した新聞社のIPアドレスだった。

今朝の紙面には無職の男が児童買春で逮捕されたと実名報道記事があったが、やっぱり無職だと
実名入りで報道されるのに、偉い人だと不都合な事実は隠されるのねと思った。

＃そういう事情に怒った記者あたりが暴露投稿したんだろうな。

コダックを責めるのは酷だと思う。何分、主力商品たる写真フィルム市場が業界ごとほぼ消滅するという事態に陥ったのである。コダックの破綻は全盛を誇った恐竜の絶滅と同じで、当然の帰結と理解する。

富士フィルムが奇跡を起こしたと賞讃すべきと思う。

この奇跡を起こした古森氏は、2000年に富士フィルム社長に就任している。

飽く迄、推測であるが社長就任に際し、富士フィルム破綻までＸＸＸ日と仮定し、破綻回避の為、出来る事、やるべき事を、愚直に熟されて来たと思う。当時、同社が2兆円のキャッシュを保有していたのが幸いしたのも疑いのない事実であろう。

The Economistによれば、「フィルムで当座のキャッシュを稼ぎ、デジタル化に徐々にシフトする。新規事業を起こす」の3本建て戦略で臨んだとの事である。
